About Chelsea

I started making my own backgrounds in March of 2009. My sister-in-law taught me some tricks in Adobe Photoshop and I have been playing ever since. I have made lots of backgrounds since then. Some good, some not so good. These that I am sharing here on this blog are the newest. I make all mine as 3-column because that is what my own personal blog is, but I have adapted most to fit a 2-column layout as well. I hope you enjoy them, and if you use one, please leave a comment! I would love to hear what you have to say! (As long as it's nice, don't be hatin'!)

I started making my own backgrounds at Halloween of 2009. I had made a few attempts before that, but they were not too fabulous. I'm still learning a lot and often have to call Chelsea to ask her how to do stuff, but I enjoy it.

You'll probably notice with mine that they are often more juvenile-oriented. That's my nice way of saying they're childish! I've looked FOREVER for Disney character backgrounds and other types like that and have never been able to find them. That is probably my main motivation for making my own. Now that I finally can, you'll see a LOT of that style for awhile!

I'm happy to make custom backgrounds upon request! Just let me know what you need!

Please feel free to browse the backgrounds! If you would like to add one, the instructions are on the right side. Labels are just underneath that for ease of browsing. If there is something you would like to see, let us know!

***NEW FEATURE!*** Now you can add our backgrounds to your blog just by adding an html/java gadget! Be sure to copy all the code in the small scroll box under the picture of the background you like and paste it into an html/java gadget, and there you have it! Make sure to email us to get your FREE CUSTOMIZED header to go with it!

How to add our FREE backgrounds to your blog

**Our backgrounds work best if you use Blogger's 'Picture Window' template, or the old 'minima' template. Which can be found by clicking on Design, then Edit HTML. (If you don't already have it, see our tutorial about it and you can copy it from there!) Scroll to the bottom of the page (not the html) and click on Select Layout Template. This will bring up the old templates. Choose Minima or Minima Lefty and click save! **

Simply add an html/java script gadget to your side bar and copy the html code under the picture of the background you like best, and paste it into that gadget!

Be sure to change your font colors to match!
